cut and toast a fresh bagel, while that i€™s getting toasty, slightly warm some creme fraiche by scooping a few tablespoons in a bowl and whisking with some salt and pepper. once that looks spreadable, slice both some tomatoes & some shallots.
once the bagel is toasty, assemble as follows, if you are a butter lover and are no€™t afraid of it, spread a thin layer on each side of the bagel, do the same with the seasoned creme fraiche, add the tomato slices, the shallots & a little more freshly milled salt & pepper. enjoy while itâ€™s still hot, it will be delicious.
