Takes us 45 minutes to go to town, so we don't just run to the store of we are out of something. Using this traditional recipe, we haven't been out of fresh baking powder for many years! —WileyP

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons baking soda
  • 4 tablespoons cream of tartar
  • 4 tablespoons arrowroot
Directions
  1. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the baking soda, cream of tartar and arrowroot until they are well combined. Store your baking powder in an airtight container in a dark, cool-ish cupboard.
