Chocolate Chia Pudding

One of my favorite (easy) treats that will delight you Paleo-freaks, Vegans, and Dairy-and-Processed Sugar-avoiders alike! —HeatherPierceG

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (you can skip if using vanilla almond milk)
  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
Directions
  1. In a medium bowl or jar, combine almond milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  2. Stir or cover and shake the jar to combine.
  3. Add chia seeds and cocoa powder and stir with a whisk until the clumps of cocoa get broken up.
  4. Cover and place in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours (or overnight is best) stirring occasionally.

Soup not pudding. I followed the recipe exactly as written. Maple syrup was 100% pure and chia seeds were fresh.

Horrible recipe and waste of expensive chia seeds! Your proportions are all wrong. Clearly the picture you used was not of the finished product created using this recipe. Grrrr. It is over 3 years old, just remove it.

Looks delicious, and so easy, too. I'm really look forward to trying this. Bet it would be fantastic with fresh strawberries and toasted almonds on top. Thank you for posting it. I make my own almond milk on a regular basis, so I'm happy to see this. ;o)
