Author Notes: These roasted hot peppers originated to spice up our fall chili. It is great for families because you can customize your chili's heat from mild to fiery. Not only do they add heat but beautiful color and an extra layer of flavor. Cook with 2 Chicks


Serves 2-4

  • 2 jalapeño peppers
  • 2 serrano peppers
  • 2 banana peppers
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  1. Clean and slice each pepper.
  2. Mix with olive oil.
  3. Season with a big pinch of kosher salt and a couple grinds of black pepper.
  4. Roast at 400 degrees for 45 minutes.
