Tangy Garlic Smashed Potatoes

I live in Hawaii, so when I have friends over for dinner I try to have all the hot cooking done in advance (it's too hot to use the oven)! These potatoes have great flavor and are easy! —Kauai Chick

What You'll Need
  • 8 Yukon gold potatoes cut in half
  • 6 Garlic cloves
  • 3 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Whole Milk Yogurt
  • Salt
  • 1/2 cup Half & half
  1. Steam potatoes and unpeeled garlic until potatoes are fork tender, about 30 minutes. Remove potatoes to bowl and cut so that skin is in smaller pieces. Squeeze garlic out of their peels into bowl with potatoes. Add butter, half and half, yogurt and salt. Smash and mix with fork. Cover with foil until ready to eat.
