Author Notes: Romeo and Juliet is how we call a very simple and traditional dessert and Brazil. Consist in guava paste and fresh white cheese, such as "Mexican queso fresco". Originally we eat a peace or slice of each, together with a fork, yes simple like that, but here I made a Romeo and Juliet filled donut.

Makes: about 15 donuts
tablespoons all purpose flour
teaspoon baking powder
cup warm milk
cup guava paste and cheese cut into cubes and mixed, for filling
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and egg. Little by little add the warm milk, just until the dough is completely combined Pull out some dough to shape into little discs . Fill each with 1/2 teaspoon of the filling mixture. Roll into a donut shape Fry the donuts in hot cooking oil Let it rest in paper towel to absorb any oil., before serving.
