Author Notes: I love having roasted garlic around the house all the time. I often buy a large bag of peeled fresh garlic and roast it in the oven. Eat a bunch, and freeze the rest in small bags to use in everything. This garlic is great warm out of the oven on veggies, meat, or crusty bread. Yum. —aseraina
- peeled cloves of garlic (a bunch or a handful)
- sea salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Rinse peeled cloves of garlic. Place as much as you want to roast into a large bowl. (I usually roast enough to cover a whole cookie sheet with one layer of cloves.) Pour in 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Sprinkle with sea salt. Spread out on cookie sheet. Roast at 350 degrees in oven until golden brown.
