Author Notes
The sweet nutty aroma coming from the street carts in New York City always puts me in a tizz however, I always seem to be in too sensible a mood to ever stop for a bag of the delightful sugary pecans! After munching incessantly on a bowlful of these heavenly treats at a recent dinner (by the way they were the biggest pecans I’ve seen in my life!), I decided to bite the bullet and make some myself.
To change things up, I decided to try walnuts. I loved these so much I threw them through my Arugula Salad that night. It finished the dish off perfectly. —Amelia G
