My favorite winter soup —mia

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • soup
  • 4 mid sized onions
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 50 grams butter
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 50 grams gouda cheese
  • test

Directions
  1. soup
  2. cut the onion in rings
  3. melt the butter in a large pan
  4. finely dice the garlic
  5. cook the onion in the melted butter until soft on low heat for about 40 minutes
  6. once the onion is soft, add the garlic
  7. add the white wine
  8. add the stock and bay leaves
  9. let simmer until the stock is reduced to half
  10. fill into bowls, cover with toasted bread and grated cheese
  11. put under the grill for about 10 minutes
  12. serve
