Author Notes

During a cold, blustery windstorm with the power flickering off and on, inevitably trending toward off, I wanted a hot toddy but had neither whiskey nor lemons on hand. I needed to get creative. I had a quart jar of cherry-infused Bulleit Bourbon from my summer preserving, which I paired with honey, water, and one drop of cardamom bitters for that perfect fall flavor. —LittleKi
