What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 2 pieces thick bread slices
  • 1 tablespoon red currant jelly
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 pieces brie cheese slices
Directions
  1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Spread the jelly on one slice of toast and top with cheese slices.
  3. Spread the jelly on one slice of toast and top with cheese slices.
  4. In a shallow dish whisk together the egg, milk, salt, and sugar with a fork until combined.
  5. Dip both sides of bread in egg mixture.
  6. Fry slices until golden brown, then flip to cook the other side.
  7. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  8. Sprinkle some more.
  9. Top with syrup. Enjoy!
