What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 1 loaf beer bread, cut into slices
  • 1 bag cracked pepper potato chips (or similar)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk or heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 pinch salt
  • butter for frying
Directions
  1. Place the potato chips in a food processor and pulse until you have a relatively fine meal. Place the meal on a plate or shallow dish.
  2. Whisk the eggs, milk, and seasoning together.
  3. Heat a frying pan or griddle over medium to medium-high heat. Melt desired amount of butter (hint: more = better).
  4. Dip the slices of bread in the mixture, coating on both sides.
  5. Dredge both sides in potato chip crumbs.
  6. Fry the slices of bread on each side for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Serve with butter and syrup.
