Author Notes: A special pesto recipe for Food Revolution Day... yes, those are loquats!Claudia | Gourmet Project

Serves: 2

  • 1 handful (10 gr) of basil leaves (I had wonderful cinnamon-basil, but regular basil will be just fine)
  • 10 grams pine nuts
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 loquats
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • a pestle and mortar (or a hand blender)
