Ingredients

2 ounces
Dark rum

1/4 ounce
Demerara simple syrup

2-3 dashes
Angostura (or other aromatic) bitters

Orange peel (optional)
Directions

In a mixing glass add ingredients on top of one another
add ice
stir until condensation forms on the glass.

Strain into a chilled old fashioned glass garnish with an orange peel.
(Optional) Serve on the rocks for a less intense experience.
