Ingredients
  • 2 cups demerara crystals
  • 1 cup fresh pressed ginger juice, double strained
Directions
  1. In a small pot bring the ginger juice to boil and reduce to simmer.
  2. Simmer until the liquid thickens slightly to a syrupy consistency. Watch it closely so it doesn't boil over or burn.
  3. Once the liquid thickens remove it from the heat and let it cool. When cooled completely, store in a glass bottle. Keep at room temp as the syrup can tend to crystalize in cold conditions.
