I came up with this recipe on a whim after finding pumpkin spice morsels in the grocery store one fall day. So my twin boys, and I decided to play around in the kitchen. They became an instant hit with family and friends. —JenniferChristman

Ingredients
- Wet ingredients

real butter

2 teaspoons
vanilla

15 ounces
canned pumpkin puree

light brown sugar

- Dry ingredients

bag pumpkin spice morsels

1 cup
english walnuts havles

4 cups
unbleached flour

2 teaspoons
baking soda

1 teaspoon
creme of tartar

2 teaspoons
cinnamon

1 teaspoon
salt

2-2/3 cups
Old fasion Oats
Directions

Preheat oven to 350°. Mix all of the wet ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Mix all of the dry ingredients together in another mixing bowl. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix together.

grease a cookie sheet and use a tablespoon to make golf ball sized cookies on the trays spaced evenly about 9 cookies per tray. Bake for 14 to 15 minutes.
