Ingredients

wholemeal flour

1/2
rolled oats

1 teaspoon
baking soda

1 teaspoon
salt

4 tablespoons
flaxseed

1 cup
buttermilk

1 tablespoon
honey
Directions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking sheet covered with baking paper and sprinkle a little wholemeal flour.

Mix the flour, oats, flaxseed, baking soda and salt. Form a small pit in the center and add the buttermilk and honey. Knead by hand. When dough is smooth (it is normal that it remains sticky) form a ball.

Place the ball on your cooktop. Using a large knife, draw a fairly deep cross. Sprinkle the bread with a little wholemeal flour. Bake for 45 minutes at 400°F (200°C).
