Hey Joey! I'm totally confused about your comment, as I grew up in Miami and my recipe is a pretty traditional Cuban picadillo filling (minus the raisins because I like it more savory). Honesty, I know nothing about Fillipino empanadas, but just did a quick Google search and all the recipes for the Fillipino ones had green peas, carrots, potatoes, and soy sauce or oyster sauce. There are a lot of different versions of picadillo and hope you make my Cuban recipe because the green olives make it extra special! Happy cooking!!!!!
