Author Notes: Main Yemenite meal of the day is lunch, which is usually eaten without implements, using a piece of bread to scoop up the food. This bread is easy to prepare and yes, so tasty, one will end up preparing it almost each week. —Elinoar Moore
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons dry yeast
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- Combine ingredients to a liquid mixture. Cover and refrigerate for up to 10 hours.
- With a ladle pour from the mixture into a non stick pot and warm on low heat until it starts to bubble.
- Arrange on plate with tahini sauce, any sauce, next to a bowl of soup or with jam
