Country Pate in Puff Pastry

Simple...I use all prepared ingredients so I am not making an ingredient from scratch. —Ron

  • Serves 4
Ingredients
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1 slice of your favorite COARSE pate
  • 1 packet ofKnorr's Green Peppercorn sauce

  1. Take 1 sheet of puff pastry and roll into a 12 x 12 square. then cut into 4 equal pieces. Cut four 1 1x 1x 1x pieces of your favorite coarse pate and place in the center of each pastry piece. Fold pastry like an envelope to enclose the pate and twist the top to seal. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. While baking make a green peppercorn sauce I use Knorr's). Spread a tablespoon of the sauce on each of the 4 serving plates. Place the finished squares on top and then add 1 more tablespoon of the sauce over each. and place in the center
