A spicy, smoky twist on the classic Manhattan inspired by the smouldering flavour of Ancho Reyes, a spirit made with ancho chiles. —Mortar & Pestle

  • Makes 1
  • 1 1 /2 ounces Bourbon
  • 1/2 ounce white vermouth
  • 1/2 ounce red vermouth
  • 1/2 Ancho Reyes
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 cocktail cherry
  • 1 twist of orange peel
In This Recipe
  1. Fill a small cocktail pitcher with ice, and add all the liquids. Stir for 30 seconds. Pour into a chilled glass and garnish with a cocktail cherry and a twist of orange.
