Author Notes: The combination of goat cheese, walnuts, and honey on a sliver of baguette is divine. It is a perfect appetizer because it is a crowd-pleaser and because it is simple to make. Waverly

Serves: 6-8

  • 1 baguette
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • plain goat cheese at room temperature
  • walnut pieces
  • fresh rosemary, chopped
  • honey
  1. Preheat oven to 350. Slice baguette into thin, 1/4 inch slices. Brush each with olive oil and place on rimmed baking sheet. Toast for a few minutes. Do not brown.
  2. Spread goat cheese on each and return to oven to slightly brown, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle with walnuts and rosemary and then drizzle with honey to taste.
