Simple Smoothie for My Old Smoothy

Author Notes: Even simple recipes require thought and a little love. My husband struggles with a variety of health issues, and we do our best to include lots of fresh fruits and vegetables in our daily food plan. Although simple, this smoothie is a great breakfast for "my old smoothy"!cookwithsusan

Serves: 1

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces Low-fat, low-sugar yogurt, if diet permits
  • 6 ounces Non-fat milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon Honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup Fresh strawberries
  • 1/2 Frozen banana

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in blender, cover, and blend until smooth in texture. Serve immediately.
