Apple Pie (Boozy Cider)

What is better than boozy apple cider on a chilly fall day? Nothing. As with all infusions, the better your base ingredients the better the outcome. If you can find Spirytus which is a polish liquor I highly recommend it. —Eli Cizewski-Robinson

Ingredients
  • 1 gallon Apple Cider
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • .5 liters Spiced Rum (I use Kilo Rum)
  • .5 liters Spirytus or Everclear.
  • 2 Cinnamon Sticks
Directions
  1. Put the cider, sugar and cinnamon into a large pot. Heat until its very warm. Do not boil.
  2. Turn off the heat and add the Spirytus and rum. Let it cool for a bit then bottle. Will keep indefinitely. make sure to shake the bottle before drinking as it will settle.
