lime zest

lime juice

tequila

2 tablespoons
agave

1 tablespoon
triple sec

extra tequila for serving

margarita salt for garnish

Directions

Add all the ingredients into the blender and puree until smooth. Pour the puree into the ice pop molds, insert the "sticks and freeze until solid.

To serve: fill a glass with warm to hot water and dip the popsicle into the water -- not quite to the rim. Count 5-10 seconds, remove from the water and slip off the cover. Serve as is or with optional garnish: Dip the popsicle in a little tequila and sprinkle with a bit of margarita salt, or for a sweeter ice pop, dip or sprinkle with sugar.
