Author Notes

The word “Cake” in France refers to a baked salted cake made with olives, ham, cheese etc. They are exclusively rectangular in shape and made in a bread pan. Rather exclusive versions include goat cheese (chevre) which prevents the cakes from being too dry. This is a simple and authentic recipe of the French cake with olives, ham and goat cheese. —Mitanti Ghosh Sarkar

Step 4 above "pour the batter" what batter? Does the batter consist of 4 eggs, cheese, ham and olives or are their also missing ingredients such as flour that is often associated with the word batter.

Thank you very much for pointing out the error. In fact there is flour, baking powder in the recipe. Sorry, I may have missed out step 3 in the recipe. I updated the recipe. Thanks again.
