Author Notes

Throw in a little matcha here, a scoop of yogurt there, and jus alpukat, literally avocado juice in Indonesian, becomes a creamy smoothie that borders on milkshake. Add some honey if you like your blended drinks sweeter. —Pat Tanumihardja

  • 1 medium ripe avocado, halved and pitted
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup whole-milk yogurt
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • Honey, to taste (optional)
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
