Taiwanese avocados are essential for this dip. Twice to three times the size of their Mexican hass counterparts, they are thin skinned and flush with juicy green flesh. Choose a soft one with a deep colour that seems heavy for its size. —Darice Dan Chang

Ingredients
  • 1 Taiwanese Avocado
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • pinch Cumin spice mix
  • pinch Curry spice mix
  • pinch Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1-3 teaspoons Refined Coconut Oil (Optional)
  • 1-2 teaspoons Toasted Black Sesame Seeds
Directions
  1. Halve and peel the Taiwanese avocado, reserving only the flesh.
  2. Combine all ingredients and mash. Adjust spices accordingly.
  3. Serve with crackers or raw veg for dipping, or anywhere you might use regular guacamole!
