Pomegranate Syrup

  • 4 cups 100% pomegranate juice

Pom Fizz

  • 1 tablespoon Pomegranate Syrup
  • 4 ounces Prosecco or other sparkling white wine
  • 4 fresh pomegranate arils/seeds

Pomegranate Syrup

  1. Add the juice to a large saucepan and set it over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until it reduces to a syrup, about 2 hours. Store in a covered container in the refrigerator.

Pom Fizz

  1. Add the Pomegranate Syrup to a champagne flute or coupe, then pour in the sparkling wine and float in a few pomegranate arils.

Could one reduce the pom juice in a Crock pot?

That's a great idea! You may want to crack the lid, though, to let off the moisture.
