Author Notes

This is such a simple almost bland dish, but quick and easy to make, few ingredients, and normally appreciated by kids. I've simplified a baked pasta dish seen on TV by one of our star cooks here in Italy, Benedetta Parodi. I rearranged it so I can make it in a jiffy without baking it in the oven. It's great just like this too —Jackie De Sordi

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 200 grams pasta ( fettucine or spaghetti is better)
  • 200 grams cubed mozzarella
  • 200 grams baked ham (cubed or sliced and cut in slivers)
  • 200 milliliters half and half
  • grated parmesan cheese to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter
Directions
  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. In a serving bowl that will fit your cooked pasta, place your cubed mozzarella and diced or slivered ham.
  3. When pasta is cooked, drain and place in your serving bowl further adding the butter so it can melt, then add the half and half and finally parmesan cheese, two tablespoons or more if you like.
  4. Toss to assemble all the ingredients and serve nice and hot.
