Delicious Spring Onions with Chickpea Flour

An easy, yummy way to prep spring onions in 20 minutes —Lakshmi Sundar

  • Prep time 5 minutes
  • Cook time 15 minutes
  • Serves 4
  • 5 bunches Spring onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 1 Dried red chili
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • .5 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tablespoons Chickpea flour
In This Recipe
  1. Heat 1 tbsp oil
  2. Add the dried red chili, mustard seeds, and cumin seeds
  3. When the seeds stop crackling, add the five bunches of thinly sliced spring onion, salt, chili powder, and turmeric powder, and cook covered for 10 minutes
  4. Lift lid, add the two tbsps of chickpea flour, mix well and cook covered for another five minutes
  5. Serve hot with flatbread or mini naans
