Rosé is the drink of summer, cider is also the drink of summer. Ever wonder what would happen if these two spirits made a baby? Well they did and it's called Rosé Apple Cider—the latest offering from the world’s leading cider producer. It tastes great over ice, but why not kick it up a notch and make it into something extra special. With a little experimenting, this is how the Rosé Spritzer was born. —Deepi Harish

Ingredients

1 ounce
silver tequila

6 ounces
Strongbow Rosé Apple cider

Splash
club soda

2-3 dashes
orange bitters

mint sprig for garnish

1/2 ounce
mint flavoured simple syrup (optional)
Directions

To make the simple syrup, combine 1/2 cup of granulated sugar with 1/2 cup of water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves then remove from heat. While the syrup is warm but not hot, add 1/4 cup of fresh, packed mint leaves and let it steep for about 15 minutes. Strain into a jar, cover and keep refrigerated for up to two weeks.

In a mixing glass filled with ice, combine tequila, syrup and cider, and stir briefly. Pour contents into a chilled glass, add a splash of club soda and 2-3 dashes of orange bitters. Garnish with a mint sprig.
