Ingredients
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs

  • 1 egg yolk
Directions
  1. In a big sauce pan, melt the butter with the water at medium heat.
  2. When it boils, add flour, salt and baking powder. Stir with a spatula until the dought detaches to the edges. Let it cool for 5 minutes.
  3. Add first the white sugar, then, add one egg and stir. Then, the other egg and stir again.
  4. Pre-heat the oven at 410°F.
  5. Pour the dought in an icing bag and form small chouquettes. Use a simple round tip. Brush the top with egg yolk and some sugar grains.
  6. Place in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes. When it's lightly brown, it's ready!
