Sauté Spinach

Elise Peterson's go-to spinach side is sautéed in butter and garlic and served at room temperature. —Food52

  • Prep time 5 minutes
  • Cook time 5 minutes
  • Serves 4
  • 100 grams butter
  • 1 garlic clove, smashed
  • 1 bag of spinach
  • 1 pinch Himalayan pink sea salt
  • 1 lemon, squeezed
In This Recipe
  1. Over medium heat, melt the butter and add the smashed garlic clove. Throw in the spinach, and turn the heat down. Sauté for 3-5 minutes until wilted.
  2. Turn off the heat and finish with a generous seasoning of sea salt and a squeeze of lemon.
