You can get your coffee AND tiramisu fix with this deliciously creamy breakfast smoothie. Lightly sweetened with dates, this smoothie has all of the components of a classic tiramisu... smooth and creamy milk, tangy mascarpone, a caffeine kick, delicate chocolate and if you'd like, a hard spirit boost.

Tips: Pour the 1 cup of whole milk into an ice tray and place into the freezer the night before. It will be ready for you in the morning. Frozen milk may look a little yellow (like butter), but it is simply the fat that has separated. It is perfectly fine! —Myo Quinn

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 1 cup whole milk, frozen
  • 1/4 cup whole milk, cold
  • 3 medjool dates, pitted
  • 3 tablespoons mascarpone cheese, cold
  • 1 tablespoon instant espresso coffee powder
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa nibs
  • 1 ounce dark rum (optional)
Directions
  1. In a blender, add all of the ingredients and blend until smooth. Serve cold!
