Sour cream scones with some strawberries on it, perfect for breakfast or a sweet treat with a cup of tea. —Tasty and Frenchy
Ingredients

1 cup
all purpose flour

1 cup
whole wheat flour

2 teaspoons
baking powder

1/4 teaspoon
baking soda

1/2 teaspoon
salt

4 tablespoons
brown sugar

1/3 cup
milk
-
1/2 cup
sour cream

1/3 cup
cold butter
-
1 cup
fresh strawberries
Directions

Pre-heat the oven at 420°F.

Mix the two flours, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar.
In an other bowl, mix milk and sour cream.

Add to the flour preparation the butter cut into cubes. Scramble. Add the strawberries, cut in small pieces. Pour the milk/sour cream in the main preparation and mix with a spatula. You can knead with your hands, but don't it to much. You don't need to have a perfect homogenous dought.

Form a round/circle, flatten slightly. It must be about 2 inches thick. Cut in slices. Place on a baking sheet covered with baking paper and place in the oven for 30 minutes.
