Simple, flaky, delicious, 5 ingredient buttermilk biscuits. Top with butter, jam, gravy, or stuff with fried chicken!! —Dash of Amy

Ingredients

2 cups
all purpose flour

4 teaspoons
baking powder
-
1/2 teaspoon
salt

8 ounces
softened butter
-
1 cup
buttermilk
Directions

Combine dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and stir together.

Add butter and press into flour mixture with a fork until crumbly.

Add the buttermilk and stir until dough ball is formed.

Sprinkle work surface with flour and coat both sides of the dough.

Roll the dough out into a 6-8 inch circle.

Cut into biscuits using a cookie cutter; place on baking sheet.

After cutting out biscuits, reroll the unused dough until it's all used.

Bake at 425 for 15 minutes.
