Simple, flaky, delicious, 5 ingredient buttermilk biscuits. Top with butter, jam, gravy, or stuff with fried chicken!! —Dash of Amy

Ingredients
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces softened butter
  • 1 cup buttermilk
Directions
  1. Combine dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and stir together.
  2. Add butter and press into flour mixture with a fork until crumbly.
  3. Add the buttermilk and stir until dough ball is formed.
  4. Sprinkle work surface with flour and coat both sides of the dough.
  5. Roll the dough out into a 6-8 inch circle.
  6. Cut into biscuits using a cookie cutter; place on baking sheet.
  7. After cutting out biscuits, reroll the unused dough until it's all used.
  8. Bake at 425 for 15 minutes.
