Amazing garlic knots made from scratch using homemade pizza dough, and coated with garlic butter. Simple to make and restaurant quality. —Dash of Amy
Ingredients
- Pizza Dough

1 cup
water

1 tablespoon
olive oil
-
1 teaspoon
salt
-
2 teaspoons
sugar
-
3 cups
flour
-
2 teaspoons
yeast
- Garlic Butter

8 tablespoons
butter

garlic cloves, minced

1 teaspoon
salt

1 teaspoon
dried parsley

1-2 tablespoons
Parmesan cheese
Directions
- Pizza Dough

Place all ingredients in a stand mixer with the dough hook attachment, and turn on to setting 2.

Run for 8 minutes, then carefully pull the dough out shaping into a smooth ball; spray mixing bowl with cooking spray and place dough back in.

Cover with plastic wrap and let the dough sit 1-2 hours, or until double in size.

Cut the dough into 15 equal size pieces, spray your work surface with cooking spray and roll each piece into a rope.

Tie the rope into a knot, tucking in the top pieces under the knot; place in greased baking pan.

Bake at 400* for about 20 minutes until golden brown.

In a small saucepan melt the butter, then add the garlic, salt, and parsley.

Spoon over the cooked dough knots.

Sprinkle with a light dusting of Parmesan cheese, and serve!
