blanco tequila

grilled tomato juice

lime juice

slice of grilled tomato
Directions

To make grilled tomato juice: slice one tomato into 1/2 inch thick pieces. Oil grates of grill so that tomato doesn't stick. Char tomato slices and let cool. Reserve one slice for garnish, and juice remaining slices.

To make spiced salt: mix equal parts chili powder and salt in a shallow bowl or plate. Set aside.

Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake with ice.

Strain the cocktail into a rocks glass over ice.

Moisten the rim of a glass with a lime wedge and dip the glass in the spiced salt to coat. Garnish with a grilled tomato wheel.
