Author Notes

One of my favorite recipes using oat milk which emphasizes the sweet taste of the apples, raisins, and maple. Easy to make and is quickly devoured at potlucks, parties, and of course, home! Happy Tip: I always make extra recipe cards, since they go as fast as the bread pudding. —[email protected]

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • Bread Pudding
  • 3 cups Oat Milk
  • 1 cup Applesauce
  • 1 cup Golden Raisins
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 4 Large Eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 4 cups Unseasoned or Gluten-Free Bread Crumbs
  • Maple Glaze
  • 2 cups Confectioners' Sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Oat Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Maple Flavoring
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350-degrees Farenheit. Well-grease a 2 quart casserole dish; set aside.
  2. Combine in a large bowl, oat milk, applesauce, raisins, sugar, eggs, cinnamon, and ginger; mix well. Add in bread crumbs and stir until well-combined.
  3. Evenly pour mixture into prepared pan and bake in preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until custard is set with a slight wobble and edges are golden brown. Remove from oven.
  4. For the glaze, whisk in a medium bowl confectioners' sugar, oat milk, maple syrup, and maple flavoring until smooth. Pour over bread pudding. Serve warm or cold.
