My go-to salsa recipe. Simple, easy, and delcious. You can easily make this while preparing your main dish or sides.

Ingredients

tomatillos

jalapeños

serrano pepper (add 1-2 more if you like your salsa spicier

cloves garlic

onion, quartered

1/2 cup
chicken broth

1/2 cup
cilantro

ripe avocado
Directions

In sauce, add 2 tbsps of neutral oil. Then, add tomatillos, jalapeños, serrano pepper(s), onion, and garlic. Add salt to taste. roast until charred and juicy (8-12 min).
You can also do this in the oven. Heat oven to 400 and roast for about 15-20minutes

Once softened and charred, add all ingredients to a blender, including cilantro, avocado, and chicken broth. Salt, to taste.
Add more or less broth depending on how thick or thin you like your salsa.

Pour salsa into mason jar or storage container and enjoy!!
