My go-to salsa recipe. Simple, easy, and delcious. You can easily make this while preparing your main dish or sides.

Ingredients
  • Dough
  • 8-10 tomatillos
  • 4 jalapeños
  • 1 serrano pepper (add 1-2 more if you like your salsa spicier
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup cilantro
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • Icing
Directions
  1. In sauce, add 2 tbsps of neutral oil. Then, add tomatillos, jalapeños, serrano pepper(s), onion, and garlic. Add salt to taste. roast until charred and juicy (8-12 min). You can also do this in the oven. Heat oven to 400 and roast for about 15-20minutes
  2. Once softened and charred, add all ingredients to a blender, including cilantro, avocado, and chicken broth. Salt, to taste. Add more or less broth depending on how thick or thin you like your salsa.
  3. Pour salsa into mason jar or storage container and enjoy!!
