Indian meals are often accompanied by Raita, a yogurt-based side dish that is healthy and delicious. This version is made with Kachoombar, a quintessential North Indian salad containing chopped cucumber, tomato, onion, and cilantro – one of our favorite raitas. Great with dishes made with Masala Mama Sauces.

grape tomatoes, quartered, or 1 tomato, diced

Persian cucumber, diced

small bunch fresh cilantro, chopped, about ¼ cup

plain yogurt

A pinch of sugar
Directions

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Adjust salt to taste. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
