I made this easily and quickly on a Saturday morning. I used molasses instead of maple syrup, which definitely made it more of a gingerbread flavor, and I used Grand Marnier instead of almond flavor :)
I also forgot to set a timer when I put this in the oven and it STILL came out delicious and perfect. Highly recommend and am so glad this recipe can be flexible to what I had on hand. Paired it with some freshly brewed coffee it was great start to the weekend. Thanks for the recipe!
