Test Kitchen Notes

This elegant, easy-sipping drink feels as fresh and springy as a bunch of just-picked tulips. With herby, floral notes of rosemary and lavender—and a touch of sweetness via the honey syrup—it's a winner for this season and beyond. To make putting it together much simpler, just grab the Cocktail Courier kit with everything you'll need to mix it up.

This recipe is shared in partnership with Belvedere Vodka. —The Editors

What You'll Need
  • 1 1/2 ounces Belvedere Vodka
  • 3/4 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce honey syrup
  • 3 ounces soda water
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary (for garnish)
  • 1 pinch lavender salt (for garnish)
  1. Add your Belvedere Vodka, lemon juice, honey syrup, and ice to a cocktail shaker. Give it a good shake (30-40 seconds).
  2. Strain the mixture into a glass with fresh ice, then top off with soda water.
  3. Give it a swirl with the sprig of fresh rosemary—then finish it all off with a pinch of lavender salt.
  4. You’re done! Now just sit back, relax, and sip.

Where's the recipe for the honey syrup?

I've purchased many items from Food52, and don't object to sponsored articles or recipes that don't require an actual purchase. However, a recipe that can only be made by purchasing a "kit" that includes two of the ingredients ("honey syrup" and "lavender salt") seems a little too much like an infomercial.

Couldn't you just mix lavender into salt? Probably a small amount since lavender can be quite strong.
