Ingredients
-
1.5 cups
Cooked Rice
-
1 pound
Chicken Breast, diced
-
.5 cups
Onion, diced
-
6 ounces
Green Chilies, diced
-
.5 cups
Buffalo Sauce
-
1 cup
Cheddar Cheese, shredded
-
2 cups
Chicken Broth
Directions
-
Heat onions in a large, buttered skillet for about 5 minutes. Add diced chicken, buffalo sauce, chilies, rice and chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
Try it: Primal Kitchen Buffalo Sauce and Super Lucky Elephant Thai Hom Mali Jasmine Rice.
-
Reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes. The broth could absorb before then, and if it does, remove before the 30 minutes is up.
-
Add in the cheddar cheese. Top with green onions for an optional decorative finish.
Chef's Tip: The sharper the cheddar, the more flavor.
-
Serve along with chips for that extra crunch.
Try it: Beanitos Restaurant Style Chips
-
Dip again and again until the final buzzer.
