It’s five o’clock on a summer Friday. This is the drink for that. Serve it with a bowl of potato chips (Utz, please) and another little bowl of extra olives and sit outside with a friend. That’s all I have to say about that! —Julia Bainbridge

What You'll Need
  • 2 ounces chinotto soda
  • 1 1/2 ounces red verjus
  • 1 ounce soda water
  • 1 orange twist, for garnish 1 green pitted olive, for garnish
  1. Fill a spritz or wine glass with 2 or 3 ice cubes. Add the chinotto, red verjus, and soda water. Garnish with the orange twist and olive.
