Directions
- Step 1
The Pasta: Fill a large pot two thirds full of water. We used a 7 liter pot, so approximately 4.5 liters of water. Add a dash of oil and a teaspoon of salt and bring to the boil. When you water is boiling add the pasta and allow to cook until pasta is firm but cooked. Once your pasta is cooked, drain the water and put back into the pot with another dash of oil.
- Step 2
The Sauce: Add oil and butter to your pan and allow to heat up. Add your chopped spring onions, garlic and bacon to the butter/oil and fry until slightly browned. Now add the mushrooms and spice mix with the bacon mix and fry for approximately 5 minutes, spreading the spices evenly. Add half of your cream and mix in, then add the rest and simmer for a while. Sprinkle parmesan cheese into the sauce and mix, simmer the sauce now until it thickens.
- Step 3
To serve: Add boiling water from your kettle to your pasta and drain it again right before serving. Scoop some pasta into a bowl and cover with sauce. Enjoy!
