I unfortunately don't make this often enough that each time I go to make it I am never sure if it's turning out right until it's mixed with spätzle on the plate. —Melissa P

Ingredients
-
200 grams
munster
-
150 milliliters
white wine
Directions
-
Cut off rind and cut cheese into small pieces. Add to pan and put on 4. Add white wine
-
Slowly let the cheese melt, stirring occasionally. At first the cheese and wine will not blend together, which is normal. Once this starts to happen, turn heat up to five
-
Sauce will remain thin, but stir often. Turn up to six while the spätzles are cooking.
-
When spätzles are done, take off heat and mix together, making sure to cover all the noodles. The sauce should've thickened some but normal to still be liquide-y. Let sit for a minute or two and then serve as it has thickened.
