These were good, but one caveat -- they aren't very sweet. If you are accustomed to substituting dark chocolate instead of semi-sweet to reduce sugar when baking, don't, or compensate with some additional sugar.

This goes without saying, but please check your can of beans to make sure they aren’t “seasoned” 😳 I neglected to do this and have garlicky, Mexican brownies. So sad! I will most definitely try this recipe again with the proper beans, haha!

You can't tell that these have black beans in them which is good but they are just not sweet enough.

I'm absolutely in love with these brownies and I also love the fact that they're vegan. I made them with crunchy peanut butter and they're perfect! Not too sweet either. Wow!

I made this recipe tonight and I did like it a lot. Of course, I did not let them set and ate one gooey unset brownie. It reminded me of a flourless cake dessert. Not bad. They were still gooey when they cooled but the taste is quite yummy. And I appreciate the beautiful ingredients that go into this. I used a combination of peanut and almond butters. I will be making these again.
